SUMMARY:Satellite Meeting Sponsorship Request Deadline
DESCRIPTION:
Small Conferences, Cou
rses or Symposia
Due to travel restrictions and safety concerns of COVID-19, ISCBFM has tem
porarily adjusted the criteria for partial sponsorship of small conferences
/courses that are related to the overall scientific goals of the society an
d of potential benefit to its members. Support for 2021 has been suspended*
, and because Brain21 has been postponed until 2022, applications are now b
eing accepted for those conferences/courses planned as a satellite to the B
rain22 conference and held either just before or after the conference. The
Education Committee of ISCBFM will conduct the initial review of all submi
tted applications and then forward their recommendations to the Executive C
ommittee for the final decision. Budget requests will be considered for amo
unts of $5,000 - $30,000.
*Previously approved 2020 conferences th
at are now being held virtually in 2021 can resubmit a new budget and reque
sted amount for Early Career Investigator support. Please contact the Educ
ation Committee Chair directly, or use the Sponsorship Request button below
.
